The House of Suntory Dojo brings Japanese bartending craftsmanship and philosophy to Germany. On behalf of Suntory Global Spirits, we at sbstnz redefined the global concept, tailoring it for the German market and overseeing the full execution, from content development to production.
Rooted in Omotenashi (hospitality), Monozukuri (craftsmanship), and Wa (harmony), the program offers high-level workshops, including a Japanese Bartending session with Hidetsugu Ueno from Tokyo’s Bar High Five. We carefully curated a mix of Japanese and German experts to ensure authenticity, managed all communication via The Blend, and executed the Kaizen Competition with a strong focus on participant experience.
The challenge? Bringing Japanese excellence to Germany without losing authenticity while making it accessible. Through precise execution and tailored content, the House of Suntory Dojo became one of Germany’s most exclusive bartender training programs in 2024.
